The University of Cincinnati has formed the UC Cancer Institute, which will organize all cancer patient care, research and education missions within the College of Medicine and throughout patient care settings in UC Health.
Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. (EES) recently announced it has renewed its research collaboration agreement with the University of Cincinnati (UC) and its Metabolic Diseases Institute (MDI). The three-year, $13.5M grant extension, is part of the EES Metabolic Applied Research Strategy (MARS), which also includes research from GI Metabolism Laboratory and Weight Center at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).
In a press release from the Ohio Department of Development, Ohio Third Frontier has awarded the University of Cincinnati with $3 million in funding for microfluidics research. The research will be conducted in collaboration with Siloam Biosciences, Gamma Dynamics, Sun Chemical and EnMonT.
Two University of Cincinnati (UC) scientists have been awarded a total of $1.44 million in grant funding from the American Cancer Society to further their study of the causes and treatment of cancer.
