According to Thomson Reuters, nine venture-backed companies went public in the first quarter of 2010, raising more than $936 million dollars, compared to zero in the first quarter of 2009.
From May 4-7, 2010, Xavier University is welcoming more than 200 people from around the world to talk about medical devices at MedCon 2010. Among the people attending and presenting at the conference are representatives from the Federal Drug Administration from Washington and Cincinnati, as well as a number of medical device experts and global regulators.
